Season 1 was premiered on 3-27-2005 and the first episode was ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. With the start of the first season, Meredith Grey is taking internship at the hospital where her mother was a renowned surgeon once upon a time. Meredith Grey is being suffered from not only heightened expectations but also from the terrible secret that her mom now suffers from Alzheimer’s. Meredith is also in romance with her boss, Derek Shepherd aka Dr. McDreamy. Other characters included are Miranda Bailey, a senior resident; George O’Malley, a nice guy intern who has a crush on Meredith; Christina Young, an ultra competitive intern who believes Shepherd is playing favorites with Meredith.
